This piece was created during my first demo at Grassroots Art Show in 2017. I felt as though the demo was a milestone in my career as a glass blower, so I wanted to showcase some of my favorite sculpting techniques and colors. Being in October, I was immediately drawn to colors of autumn. I’ve never been so nervous while creating a glass piece before, but I’m very happy with how it turned out. I feel that this piece is a big step in the direction of truly expressing myself through the glass medium.
